Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2012 The Tally Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve has a pronounced black fruit, earthy and meaty scented nose with notes of blackcurrant cordial, blueberry tart, beef drippings and cigar boxes over eucalyptus, incense and black loam notes. Medium-bodied with good concentration in the mouth, the oak is poking through the black fruit and earthy notes at this youthful stage, contributing to the firm texture, which offers great promise.
