Tasting notes: The wine takes its name from the shape of the vineyard that looks and means 'snake' in Afrikaans.
Ruby color with aromas of raspberry and violet a little spicy. There is a small floral side (linden flower) and we feel that the wine has been in contact with the roundup as in some areas of Burgundy. But the raid is ripe and it brings body and structure to the wine. It's very elegant, pure and refined but not one-dimensional. Cinsault as we do not see more often now.
